Questions
Why does flooring stock need batch tracking?
Flooring is made in batches, and colour and shade can differ between them. Fitting a room from two batches can show. Tracking stock by batch lets you pick a whole job from one.
Can I see stock that is already promised to customers?
Yes. Stock held for confirmed orders is shown separately from free stock, and incoming stock from open purchase orders is shown too.
Will Seamvo order stock on its own?
Not unless you allow it. By default Stan drafts the purchase order and asks you first.
Does it work with more than one warehouse?
Yes. Switch on several warehouses to keep stock per site and move it between them with transfers.
