Questions
How do you work out flooring packs from square metres?
Take the room area in m², add your waste allowance (often 5 to 10%, more for herringbone), then divide by the m² in one pack and round up. For a 20 m² room with 10% waste and 2.2 m² packs: 22 ÷ 2.2 = 10 packs. Seamvo does this for every room on the quote.
Can I add underlay, trims and fitting to a quote?
Yes. Add them as extra lines with their own prices and VAT, alongside the flooring itself.
Can customers accept a quote online?
Not yet. Customers reply to the quote email and you, or Otto, turn it into an order in one click. Online acceptance with a deposit is on our list.
Does Seamvo send quotes without asking me?
No, not by default. Quotes Ella drafts wait for your approval. You can choose what each agent may do on its own.
